This Policy applies to information we collect when you visit our Website and our other websites that display a link to this Policy; when you receive communications from us, including any email, text, chatbot, and other messages; and when visit our locations and use our products and services. It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including personal information collected through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from or through the Website (for instance, where you follow links to third party websites over which we have no control).

Children Under the Age of 16


Our Website is not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any personal information to or on the Website. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Website, including information:

  • By which you may be personally identified, such as name, email address, postal address, telephone number, birthday, account information (incl. account password), and any other personally identifiable information you choose to provide and by which we may contact you online or offline ("personal information");
  • That is about you but individually does not identify you, such as gender, your preferred SkinSpirit location; 
  • About your service and purchase history; and/or
  • About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage details.

  • Automatically as you navigate through the Website. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
  • From public sources, for example, Google reviews. This includes social media platforms like Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, and others. The Personal Data we gather may include photos, posts, likes, and your interactions with our content. For example, with your permission, where required by law, we may repost your Instagram post about our products on your own Instagram feed.
  • From third parties, for example, our business and marketing partners, advertising networks, and data analytics providers. This may include data licensors that supply contact details, profiles, demographics, and other data, such as information about your household, interests, educational background, booking history, and purchasing history. Some of these providers may merge data collected from visitors to our Website through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies with email or mailing addresses, enabling us to send you relevant marketing offers via email and direct mail.

Information You Provide to Us  

The information we collect directly from you may include:

  • Information that you provide when you access or use the Website, fill in forms on our Website or at our locations, create an account on our Website, purchase our products, participate in a survey, participate or sign up for a promotion, activity, or event, subscribe to receive our emails or text messages, enter a contest or sweepstakes, “communicate with us through our chatbot, communicate with us via third-party social media sites (including by posting or tagging content), submit a review, request customer support, report a problem with our Website, or otherwise communicate with us.

  • Details of transactions you carry out through our Website or other means and of the fulfillment of your orders. This may include your contact, shipping and financial information. Our online store, Shop.SkinSpirit.com , is hosted by Shopify, a third-party payment processor that collects and processes your payment information. Your data is stored in Shopify’s records and encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
  • Your search queries on the Website.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies  

As you navigate through and interact with our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Details of your visits to our Website, including page views, traffic data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Website.
  • Information about your device and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, browser type and language, browser capabilities, Internet Service Provider, and the web pages that you visit.
  • Your email address may also be collected automatically (without entering it on the Website) and that email address could be matched to a postal address to deliver marketing offers from SkinSpirit.

Service Provider Use of Your Personal Information 

Our service providers may collect, use, maintain, and disclose your personal information, and in such cases, they do so in accordance with their privacy policies, not ours. These service providers include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Data analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, WebFX (MCFX), Shopify, etc.).
  • Marketing service providers (e.g., Meta, Google Ads, Shopify, etc.)
  • Other service providers (Claritas, Zenoti, Comma8, SmartBug, etc.)

Short Messaging System (SMS) Policy

This section details how we handle information you provide through our SMS program:

  • Use of Information: We use your information to send mobile messages and respond to your inquiries as necessary. This may involve sharing your information with platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist in message delivery.
  • Protection of Information: We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or customer information collected through the SMS program to any third party.
  • Consent: Consent to receive automated marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving further text messages via the messaging service by responding to any of our text messages with any of the following replies: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT.

This SMS policy is strictly limited to our SMS program and does not affect any other aspects of this Privacy Policy that may govern your relationship with us in other contexts.

Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information: 

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Website may then be inaccessible or not function properly. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by the Company to promote our own or third parties' products or services, you can opt-out by sending an email stating your request to privacy@skinspirit.com, choosing the opt-out option in your account settings, or following the opt-out directions at the bottom of our promotional emails.  
  • Targeted Advertising. If you do not want us to use information that we collect or that you provide to us to deliver advertisements according to our advertisers' target-audience preferences, you can opt-out by sending an email stating your request to privacy@skinspirit.com.

We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") on the NAI's website.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You may send us an email at privacy@skinspirit.com to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that you have provided to us. We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Information provided by you directly to one of our service providers is governed by their respective privacy policies and any other applicable documents.

Your State Privacy Rights

Colorado, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia, each provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to:

  • Confirm whether we process their personal information.
  • Access and delete certain personal information.
  • Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, considering the information's nature processing purpose (excluding Utah).
  • Data portability.
  • Opt-out of personal data processing for targeted advertising and sales.
  • Opt-out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (excluding Utah). 

The exact scope of these rights may vary by state. To exercise any of these rights please send an email stating your request to privacy@skinspirit.com. 

Some states, such as Colorado and Virginia, allow residents to appeal a decision regarding a consumer rights request. In order to do so, please send your appeals request to privacy@skinspirit.com. Once you have submitted a request, we will acknowledge receipt of your request and advise you how long we expect it will take to respond if we are able to verify your identity. Also, we may ask you to describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request. We commit to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to a total of ninety (90) days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. 

Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. Residents who wish to exercise this sale opt-out right may send an email stating their request to privacy@skinspirit.com.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. However, the safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to us. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Website.
