Dr. Leis is a skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a passion for making the details perfect. Raised by two artists, she has honed her eye for the aesthetic and brings this focus to all of her patients.
Dr. Leis earned an Honors Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Oregon State University Honors College, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. She obtained her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where she was honored for her commitment to education with the Nathans Distinguished Service for Mentorship and Teaching.
She then completed a six-year residency in plastic surgery at Loma Linda University, followed by a one-year fellowship in orthopedic hand surgery at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She is board certified in plastic surgery, with a certificate of added quality for hand surgery.
She lives in Orange County with her husband, a filmmaker, and outside of her commitment to her patients, enjoys working in her garden and travel.
