To minimize the possibility of bruising please remember:
1 week prior to your appointment to stop the following:
- Supplements such as Omega 3’s (fish oil, flax seeds)
- Vitamin E
- Aspirin
- Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)
- Naproxen (Aleve)
24 hours prior to your appointment:
- No alcohol
- Avoid salt
Tylenol is okay.
You will be given a compression wrap on the day of your treatment to wear afterwards.
Although not mandatory, we highly encourage you to wear the compression wrap for the 24-48 hours after treatment to help reduce swelling in the area treated.
For best results, plan accordingly to wear the compression wrap.
